My role focused on designing the end-to-end mobile user experience across multiple areas: a native customer application, vehicle ownership and identity management, connected service interactions, digital asset and wallet experiences, and marketplace and transaction journeys. The platform aimed to simplify complex blockchain functionality while delivering a premium and intuitive automotive experience aligned with Honda's innovation vision.

Connecting Ownership, Identity, and Emerging Technology

The automotive industry is evolving beyond physical vehicle ownership. The challenge was designing a mobile experience that connected vehicle ownership, digital identity, and blockchain-backed services in a way that felt accessible and trustworthy for mainstream users.

Vehicle ownership verification

Users needed a reliable way to verify and prove vehicle ownership digitally, replacing or supplementing traditional paper-based processes.

Digital identity management

Connecting a person's digital identity to their vehicle and ownership records required privacy-first design and clear consent flows.

Secure wallet interactions

Interface Principles

The interface used card-based layouts, clear visual hierarchy, touch-friendly interactions, action-oriented screens, structured information grouping, consistent status indicators, and progressive disclosure for complex information.

Every screen was designed to feel premium and aligned with Honda's brand while ensuring that blockchain-backed functionality remained invisible to the user. The goal was a seamless automotive experience where advanced technology served the user without demanding their attention.

Design Approach

Ownership-related information and transactions were organised into simplified mobile flows that improved readability and reduced cognitive load. The verification process was framed as a standard security step, not a blockchain interaction.

Wallet connection was presented as linking a secure account. Ownership history was surfaced as a clean timeline. Digital assets were shown as connected vehicle records. By reframing technical concepts in familiar automotive language, the experience felt natural rather than novel.
